In this course you will learn how to read and manipulate data using basic R and tidyverse packages followed by data visualization with ggplot2.
- Basic information about syntax for the R programming language
- The RStudio interface
- Importing CSV files
- Structure of data frame objects, categorical variables (i.e. factors), basic data manipulation (adding/removing rows and columns)
- Calculating summary statistics
- Introduction to plotting
