Your first step towards bioinformatics
Date: 29 May - 2 June 2017
Timezone: Amsterdam
Over 4 days you will explore the open source world associated to bioinformatics with our experts. You will be introduced with various topics, from the basics of Linux, to widely used programming languages such as Perl™ and Python™ and the world’s most popular open source database MySQL™.
A well balanced combination of lectures and practical sessions will reinforce new learning progressively building momentum towards a practical project where the newly acquired knowledge will be applied. New powerful options will be introduced to give you more confidence when handling large datasets. Ultimately, you will discover what’s beyond rigid user interfaces and apply your learning with real data.
